02/19/2013  John Richards wins from the pole at Martinsville Trucks. Rob Partridge claims the championship.  John Richards won at Martinsville on Tuesday 02/19 in the NSR Trucks Short Tracks Series. Great exciting race on a classic short track. Not too many cautions considering it was Martinsville except an unwanted caution with 5 to go when Gary Wilson cut a tire. Congrats to John Richards for the win. Rob Partridge and Gil Drake were also serious contenders all night. Tires and brakes held up real good and you had to watch the water temperature as it was on the limit. Lots of fun for sure and not much talking as all drivers were heavily concentrating on the task at hand: surviving at Martinsville! Great respectful driving by the bunch.
