02/26/2013  Rob Partridge takes the win and the championship at USA Trucks  Rob Partridge won at USA on Tuesday 02/26 in the NSR Trucks Short Tracks Series. For sure a great race on this short 3/4 mile. It was Saturday night style short racing for sure. Cautions flew here and there but nothing major. Most of the evening the fight was on between John Richards and Gil Drake. With a few laps to go, a caution came out sending the race in overtime. Some took new tires and some did not. Rob Partridge that had a slight mishap 10 laps before was one that went for new tires and re-started in 6th place. When the green flag flew it looked like Gil was sailing to another victory but was pushed out of the groove on the last corner by John Richards giving suddenly a clear track to Rob Partridge for the win. It was a close one for sure. Some of us watched the replay after the race a found the last corner incident sort of borderline but it is short track racing after all. Good race by all that participated and congrats to Rob for having survived. Goody's Headache Award goes to Jeff Ward that ended up with a misbehaving truck. LOL See you all next week at Bristol. 02/24/2013 Gil Drake wins final 10 lap run at Daytona Trucks. Rob Cobb claims the championship.  Gil Drake won at Daytona on Sunday 02/24 in the NSR Early Bird Series. After numerous updates by TSF we ended up with trucks that drove very well at Daytona. Congrats to Gil Drake for taking the checkered. At lap 40 we called a competition yellow to bundle up the field. A few trucks had scrapes and bumps and it ended up in a hornet's nest finish that saw some of the leaders wrecking in the last corner. An exciting race for sure. Tires held up quite well. Goody's Headache Award goes to John Richards that lost his connection while fighting for the lead. Good job by all drivers and see you all next week at Iowa. Results Early Bird Series Standings | |

02/22/2013 Rob Cobb leads the most laps on way to win at Mansfield ARCA Rob Cobb won at Mansfield on Friday 02/22 in the GTRL Non-Points Series. A caution flew with 10 to go in a 140 lap race that saw two green flag pit stops. The field was put on the grid for a ten lap shootout and Sanders got by Cobb in the last corner to take the win.
