06/16/2013  John Vine makes a late pass to win Michigan ARCA  John Vine won at Michigan on Sunday 06/16 in the OSW 2013-summer-series. John Vines snags his first win of Race 2 for the Season 16 Series. Brandon Jones, last weeks winner, lead for 84 laps. But near the end of a green flag run with 10 to go. The dreaded caution flag came out for some contact of cars getting into pit row. With that, a few drivers had enough fuel, but with that caution changed it for them. With some incidental contact another driver got into the wall, which took the event into a green, white checker. With less then 10 laps to go, Chris Walker's #71 Chevy, went up in smoke. Dropping him from a possible top 5 finish to 11th. Chris did manage to led 3 laps today. Fred Wolf a Michigan native had an impressive day, finishing 2nd. With another Michigan native finishing 3rd, Jack Fisher. But it only took John Vine to lead the last two laps to bring his car into victory lane today. Hats of to the #52 team, they earn it today. 06/16/2013  Max Theriault cruises to victory at Texas Trucks  Max Theriault won at Texas on Sunday 06/16 in the NSR Early Bird Series 2. Another caution free race! Good job by all drivers. Nice win by Max Thériault that took good care of his tires even when he ran blistering laps with Rob and Randy. Excellent save by Floyd that almost lost it in the front stretch mowing the grass all along pit road. Setup was excellent and qualifying times were all within 2 tenths. Goody's Headache Award goes this week to Jerry Watson that had a funky internet connection that eventually dropped out. A quick note for the ones not connecting to TS3. You will not be able to race if you did not practice even a couple of laps, and definitely if you are not connected on TS3 for the drivers' meeting. It is a question of respect towards the rest of the bunch. Next week we are finishing season 2 at Charlotte and Rob Partridge has an 8 point lead over Brian Kenney. Season 3 will be posted soon. 06/13/2013  Brandon Mayes wins by 0.047s at Michigan ARCA  Brandon Mayes won at Michigan on Thursday 06/13 in the 30+ Cup Series Summer 2013. Three weeks straight your winner Brandon Mayes!!!! Leading the most laps he found himself mid-field at one point only to battle back and grab the checkers. He squeezed it out beating Wayne "Mr. Des" Iona by only 0.05 of a second. Third was achieved by Rob Partridge as he battled Woody Sykes side-by-side to the finish. It was a fast paced race full of excitement and even three wide at times.
