07/14/2013  Brandon Jones wins in tight finish at Kansas ARCA  Brandon Jones won at Kansas on Sunday 07/14 in the OSW 2013-summer-series. Brandon hangs on! With a last lap, few hundred feet from the checker, Jimmy Babb lays the chrome horn but Brandon Jones gets to the line first. Jimmy had a awesome run today, staying right with today's winner to the very end today. With a great run off turn four, or Brandon's car slips just enough, to give Jimmy one last chance. But Brandon some how hangs on to it. The drivers at the end of the race were laughing at what a fun race it was. And gave each other tons of respect afterwards, saying they wish they could have one more shot at that ending. Today as well Fred Wolf raced for another top 5 spot. Pulling off a last lap pass by John Vine, while also battling with Chris Walker for the same spot. Fred managed a 3rd place finish. After dust settled and the points were added. Brandon Jones jumped up a spot, knocking Chris Walker back to 3rd in points. With both Drivers now 4 points from our leader Jack Fisher Jr. . Our points leader did everything he could to pick up points this race, which turned out for the good. 07/14/2013 Max Theriault leads the most laps on way to win at Nashville Trucks. Rob Partridge claims the championship.  Max Theriault won at Nashville on Sunday 07/14 in the NSR Early Bird Series 3. A super fast paced race with only one caution. Congrats to Max Thériault for a solid performance. Tires were not really a major issue on this concrete track but if you abused them too much your lap times would just tumble and the truck just would not turn. When the caution came out, a few drivers got caught a lap down and were not able to get back on the lead lap. As a quick reminder to all, whoever causes the caution goes to the end of the longest line. Same rule goes for the lucky dog. Goody's Headache Award goes to Randy Eliason that had a very fast truck but got caught a lap down with that caution. Next week we are at Michigan. Results Early Bird Series 3 Standings | |
