Kevin Yates leads the most laps on way to win at Dover ARCA Kevin Yates won at Dover on Thursday 10/03 in the 30+ Cup Series Fall 2013. It was a fast paced hard fought race for all drivers this time. With several cautions on the night from everyone giving all they had every lap of the 120lap event it was your pole sitter Brandon Mayes that couldn't buy a caution after getting busted for speeding and having to do a drive through from the final stop of the night. In the closing laps it was your winner Kevin Yates and second place driver Bill Booz, who suffered an earlier spin, battling side-by-side while third place finisher Rob Partridge was hoping the two would wreck each other for his chance to be on top. Partridge maintains the points lead over Booz by 13 with third place in points Razzorr only one point back from Booz as 30+ will be halfway through there Fall series after the race next week at Kansas. | |
Brian Kenney takes the win and the championship at Talladega ARCA Brian Kenney won at Talladega on Tuesday 10/01 in the NSR ARCA Tuesday Thunder 3 Series. The Eat a Peach 100 at Talladega was a great race. 2 mysterious cautions for debris called by the NSR Officials made it really tight especially at the end where Brian Kenney edged Floyd Broadley by a hair. The whole group finished the race within 1/2 a second. On the last lap we even saw 5 wide racing. And still no wrecks. Every driver at one time or another led a couple of laps. Pit stops were not an issue and no driver got caught for speeding. The usual suspects were up front for the start of the race but within half a lap drivers were fighting for position. Goody's Headache Award goes to Rob Partridge that missed a shift on a restart and got rear ended thus damaging his car. Lots of fun for sure and you had to be a real wheel man to stay in that hornet's nest. Congrats to all drivers. Next week we are at Michigan for the South of Heaven 100. | |
