01/20/2014  Kevin Yates leads the most laps on way to win at Kentucky Trucks. John Richards claims the championship.  Kevin Yates won at Kentucky on Monday 01/20 in the GTRL Winter Truck Series. A tough 96 lap race that was tight on tires (4 sets) ended with pole-sitter Kevin Yates pulling away. Yates was on his last set of tires and was glad to see the caution flag stay hidden for the last 22 laps while Cotterill and Cobb battled for second. Cottie would take that spot with Steve Young and Matt Smith rounding out the top five. The final caution came during a pit cycle and dropped several cars to the back with wave-arounds. 01/17/2014 Kevin Yates beats Rob Partridge in 59 lap run at Rockingham ARCA. John Richards claims the championship.  Kevin Yates won at Rockingham on Friday 01/17 in the GTRL Winter Cup Series. Seven cautions in the first 90 laps gave way to a 58 lap run to the checkers. Sanders took the pole and led the most laps. Richards grabbed the lead several times and Cobb mixed it up in the top three, but it would be Yates and Partridge that finished one two in this one. They pitted for fuel and tires on the last pit stop and stretched the fuel well beyond the expected number of laps. 01/13/2014 John Richards takes the win and the championship at Las Vegas Trucks  John Richards won at Las Vegas on Monday 01/13 in the GTRL Winter Truck Series. John Richards grabbed his 3rd win of the season by making a pass with three to go. The #22 Ford used the apron on the front-stretch and a nudge going down the back-stretch to complete the pass.
