Shawn Massey edged out Rob Partridge by less than 1/10 of a second to take the season finale. Rob Partridge won 5 races and is the Spring Truck Champion. John Richards finished 2nd in points and Shawn Massey 3rd.

It seems that the season ended like it started. Total domination by Rob Partridge that took the Early Birds Trucks championship. Congrats! We'll try to make it tougher for you next season.
The last race of the season was at Homestead and we only saw one caution flying mid-race which was sort of well timed as we all had to go into the pits. John Richards fought Rob Partridge relentlessly for the last 20 laps trying the low side lap after lap, but the high side was the place to be. Below, you have the top ten runners of the winter season. Thanks to all for showing up and making this a fun and exciting series. Next week, a new season starts and we'll be at Daytona for the opener.

 Nortex Early Bird Series at GTRL Standings

In this penultimate race of the Spring Cup season, Rob Partridge needed a win or a big points night over 4 other drivers to move on to the finale next week. The win was procured by running 33 laps on the final fill-up while others didn't try to get more than 30 laps. John Vine (3rd) and Scot Williamson (5th) had their best finishes of the season in one of the best races this spring. Richards and Holland were both involved in incidents and their damage eliminated them from the playoffs. Lee and Cobb join Partridge next week in the championship race.
