10/05/2014  John Richards dominates at California Trucks. Chris Sercombe claims the championship.  John Richards won at California on Sunday 10/05 in the NSR Nortex Early Bird at GTRL Fall Series. Another great race by all participants with just one caution. This was a very fast paced raced where danger was always lurking exiting turn two. Setup was fast and great but you still had to monitor properly tire temps if you did not want to slide all over the place. Cole Barnes took the pole and had a very solid race finishing second. John Richards ended up taking the checkered flag by a couple of tenths. In third position was Steve Young, fourth went to Rob Cobb and rounding the top five Brian Kenney. Goody's Headache Award goes to Rob Partridge that forgot to totally fill his fuel tank on the previous green stop and had to do an unexpected pit stop with a few laps to go.
