11/09/2014  John Richards wins caution free race at Texas Trucks. Chris Sercombe claims the championship.  John Richards won at Texas on Sunday 11/09 in the NSR Nortex Early Bird at GTRL Fall Series. Great job by all drivers for another caution free race. The race went by quite rapidly. The last pit stop for most drivers would be with 10 or 15 laps to go. Somehow John Richards did his last pit stop with 30 to go under the radar. Nobody paid attention to it. At the end of the day, it was the right strategy as new tires were not good enough to catch him at the end. Finishing second was Rob Cobb, third went to Rob Partridge, fourth to Floyd Broadley and rounding up the top five Pete Rawicz. Very fast and exciting race. Goody's Headache Award goes to Brian Kenney that got caught speeding in the pits during the green flag stop. The chase continues next week at Las Vegas. See you then!
