01/18/2015 Rob Cobb leads the most laps on way to win at Gateway Trucks. John Richards claims the championship. Rob Cobb won at Gateway on Sunday 01/18 in the NSR Early Birds Winter Series. The Corn Flower Blue 32 machine of Rob Cobb was hard to beat today. He led most laps. Michael Budd took an impressive pole position but unfortunately started to slide down the order as the race progressed. Finishing second was RP aka David Cassidy, followed in third by Taco Floyd, John Richards in fourth after starting last with 10 to go and rounding up the top five Dean Geer. A few caution flags flew usually catching people on the exit of turn four after the tires got overworked. We had a great stable setup. Thanks to Rob Cobb again for all the great work on the ASRX Launcher. Makes life a lot easier. Next week we are on the super fast Texas Speedway.
