02/08/2015 John Richards takes the win and the championship at Las Vegas Trucks  John Richards won at Las Vegas on Sunday 02/08 in the NSR Early Birds Winter Series. Congrats to John Richards for winning this one. It was not an easy race and we had a lot of action on the track. 24 trucks showed up at Las Vegas for track supremacy. Tire conservation was definitely one of the keys for having a good consistent long run. With the heat building up and somebody following you close, that truck could become evil loose or climb to the wall. We saw also a couple of wrecks always located around the start finish line, and the wall after exiting turn 4 had many black marks. Overall a great race. Second place went to Rob Partridge, third to Rob Cobb, fourth to Jerry Watson and rounding up the top five Bill Holland. Goody's Headache Award goes this week to Steve Young that started on the pole but got collected in a wreck with 11 laps to go. Next week we are at Daytona for some major speeds and drafting.
