All drivers put on a great race in the ARCA cars last night but in the end John Richards sealed the deal with a great 2 Tire call during final green flag stops in a fantastic race at California's Auto Club Speedway. 03/18/2015  Rob Partridge wins final 14 lap run at Pocono Cup. John Richards claims the championship.  Rob Partridge won at Pocono on Wednesday 03/18 in the NSR Insomniacs Series. Lots of great racing last night at Pocono even if the race was punctuated by a few cautions. We still had some nice action on fairly long green flag runs. Tim Kirby took an impressive pole. After the last restart, we saw different strategies unfold when some drivers had to pit with just a handful of laps to go. Rob Partridge's strategy paid off and he saw the checkered flag first, followed by John Richards, Tim Miller, Steve Young and in fifth place with a motion of excellence new comer Andrea Herreras. After watching the replay, we still saw some useless aggressive driving by some that resulted most of the time in unneeded incidents or run-ins. There were not many cautions, but a lot of them could have been eliminated by tempering the gas pedal. Goody's Headache Award goes to our pole sitter Tim Kirby that mysteriously lost his second gear early in the race. Rumor has it that it was just plain sabotage by a rival team.
