Chris Melton makes a last lap pass to win at Kentucky Trucks to take 5th in a row. John Richards claims the championship. Chris Melton won at Kentucky on Sunday 04/05 in the NSR Early Birds Winter Series. First, Happy Easter to all. The Easter Egg Hunt 100 was a great race. Floyd Broadley took the pole and we went off for quite a few long green runs. As any good race should end with drama, we had a GWC and Chris Melton came zooming through the field with new tires to take the win over Rob Cobb, Floyd Broadley, Dean Geer and John Stanley. We had an excellent setup that gave us very competitive side by side racing. You still had to manage tires the way it should be. Goody's Headache Award goes to Gene Nie that was being let down by his internet provider. Great race by all. See you all next week at California.

Luis Almeida takes his second victory of the season in dominant style, in yet another caution free race. 200 miles of Nashville and it was Luis's pit entry and exit speed that enabled him to gap his closest rival in the two green flag stops. Image - Graydon leads but Almeida is lining himself up for an inside pass, successfully achieved after a lap of side by side running.

Jeremy Enochs makes a late pass to win Daytona Cup. John Richards claims the championship. Jeremy Enochs won at Daytona on Wednesday 04/01 in the NSR Insomniacs Series. And no, this is not an April Fool's Day joke! 35 drivers, 80 laps and just two cautions. Great job by all drivers that attended this exciting race. One of these 2 cautions was actually bogus, as it was caused by a warp by one of the competitors. David Hart took the pole position. Obviously a lot of green flag pit stops and a few people getting caught speeding in the pits. At the end of the day, Jeremy Enochs took the checkered by 0.057s over Chris Melton, third place went to Rob Cobb, fourth to Floyd Broadley and rounding up the top five Todd Stover. Again, super job by all drivers. See you all next week at Kentucky.
