John Richards makes a last lap pass to win Kansas ARCA



John Richards won at Kansas on Thursday 05/07 in the 30+ ARCA Spring 2015 Series.

The ARCA cars were out in force with a solid 28 car field to take the green flag at Kansas. This race was plagued with cautions early on. BUT the 2nd half of race was a complete different story. Despite the 10 cautions on the night it ended up a very fun & interesting race.
In the end it was a ballsy four tire call from the crew chief of the #6 Valvoline Chevrolet as the deciding factor to get pole sitter John Richards back to the front to earn his fifth win on the season. The victory sets him up in great position to take the championship heading into final race of season in Charlotte. Congrats!!

Patrick Rawicz wins in tight finish at Talladega Cup. John Richards claims the championship.



Patrick Rawicz won at Talladega on Wednesday 05/06 in the NSR Insomniacs Series.

Talladega, 31 cars and 2 cautions equals one heck of a great race considering one of the cautions was caused by a driver warp. Super job by all drivers on this one. Paul Sanders took the pole and 19 other cars were clocked within one tenth of a second. Twelve drivers got caught speeding in the pits under green flag pit stops. The pits were the area were we found a lot of cars running into each other. The last five laps were an absolute nail biter and the high side was clearly the place to be. A thrilling finish saw Patrick Rawicz taking the checkered first, followed by Chris Melton, Matt Sotomayor, Matt Smith and Paul Hahn rounding up the top five. Goody's Headache Award goes to Pete Rawicz that had his engine expire while entering the pits on the first stop. This was race number one of the chase. Next week we are under the lights at Richmond.
