02/13/2016  Rob Partridge takes the win and the championship at Charlotte Cup  Rob Partridge won at Charlotte on Saturday 02/13 in the SFL Full Length 1x Series. Today was the final round of the chase for the SFL Full Length Series championship.Kyle Pilman unfortunately was not able to make the race, so Rob Partridge, Brett Horner and Jay Crabill battled it out for 600 miles to determine the series Champion.1/4 of the way through the race, Jay had a problem with his car and hit the wall in the tri-oval. With aero being so important at this track, that all but ruined his day. Our one and only caution flew at lap 174 when Dan Pearl had a moment attempting to get to pit road. With about 100 to go Brett Horner sped on pit road, resulting in a drive through penalty. With Jay and Brett out of the way, Rob Partridge lapped all but one car, and cruised to victory, and claimed the Championship. Congrats Rob, well deserved! Results Full Length 1x Standings | |
