Shawn Massey makes a last lap pass to win Kansas ARCA Shawn Massey won at Kansas on Thursday 10/10 in the 30+ Cup Series Fall 2013. A few early cautions started the 120lap event on the greasy track but once the rubber built up and temperatures cooled it was green flag racing to the finish. What looked like a two car battled to the finish between pole sitter Kevin Yates and second place starter Brandon Mayes, whom led the most laps, found that fast doesn't always mean a win. It was your race winner Shawn Massey and second place finisher Woody Sykes that proved fuel millage and pit strategy gets the job done tonight. Great job fellas! This marks the halfway point in the 2013 30+Fall Cup season and your points leader is Rob Partridge. We look forward to continuing the show next week at Charlotte. So long and good night!

Jason Cotterill beats Rob Cobb in 3 lap run at Michigan ARCA. Brian Kenney claims the championship. Jason Cotterill won at Michigan on Tuesday 10/08 in the NSR ARCA Tuesday Thunder 3 Series. Congrats to Jason Cotterill for a solid win at Michigan. He fought hard for the last laps against Rob Cobb to keep the lead and see the checkered flag first. Before the caution that flew with less than 10 to go, the two Robs were fighting for supremacy, but Rob Partridge got too low in a corner and lost it going below the yellow line. At the restart Cottie got the lead and never looked back. A very fast paced race. Floyd Broadley took the pole. Goody's Headache Award goes to the two Johns. John Richards lost it early in the race entering the pits and John Stanley self spun and wrecked the car beyond repair. A very exciting race where fuel strategy came into play until a late caution flew. Next week we are at Toledo.

Chris Welch makes a last lap pass to win Iowa ARCA ![]() Chris Welch won at Iowa on Sunday 10/06 in the OSW 2013 osw arca short track series - Season 17. With a wild last three lap shootout, Chris Welch some how manages a win. It ended up being a tough night for our pole winner, Brandon Jones. Early in the race he had to pull his car down pit row to fix some car trouble. As the race rolled on, his crew gave him the sign it was over after lifting the hood. So Brandon's day ended too short. Two other drivers midway through the race would also have some bad luck. Jack Fisher Jr got caught up in a car that lost control which ended his night of racing. And Jimmy Babb later on, would have trouble getting his car to fire back up, after spinning out when he brought out a caution from oil on the track. Demarco Starks, Chris Walker, Paul Hahn and Mike Clifton would have a good finish, finishing 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th, in that order. On the final lap, Chris Welch got into the back of Josh Hart, who was leading them to the checker flag. Either Josh's tires slipped up and little, or Chris was able to get on the gas sooner. But they touched coming through the corner. Which then upset Josh's car, which caused him to go around, due to then Chris's car getting into the back of Josh. Josh manages to hang onto it only to be passed by 8 other drivers to finish in 9th. Which sometimes happens at a short track. After the race both drivers shook hands.
