05/09/2014  Rob Partridge wins on fumes at Kansas ARCA. Rob Cobb claims the championship.  Rob Partridge won at Kansas on Friday 05/09 in the GTRL Spring Cup Series. In this penultimate race of the Spring Cup season, Rob Partridge needed a win or a big points night over 4 other drivers to move on to the finale next week. The win was procured by running 33 laps on the final fill-up while others didn't try to get more than 30 laps. John Vine (3rd) and Scot Williamson (5th) had their best finishes of the season in one of the best races this spring. Richards and Holland were both involved in incidents and their damage eliminated them from the playoffs. Lee and Cobb join Partridge next week in the championship race.
