After passing each other in successive corners after the Green/White/Checker restart, Kirby and Richards got together in the final corner allowing Partridge to slip past for the win. Several trucks were sideways trying to turn under the wreck in turn four. Norman and Sykes made the most of it moving up 4 and 7 spots in the carnage to get top 5 finishes. It was a race marred by cautions, but the two and three-wide action was fierce when under green.
