John Richards takes the win and the championship at Kansas Trucks John Richards won at Kansas on Sunday 03/08 in the NSR Early Birds Winter Series. 24 drivers showed up at Kansas for the last race before the chase. Bill Holland took the pole. We went green until lap 55 when Ron Havu's motor expired entering pit road. This would be the only caution of the race. We went green after that until the end. We had a very fast and stable setup but you still had to watch for tire wear. Four sets were allowed for this race. Two drivers got speeding penalties assigned while pitting under green. At the end of the day, John Richards would see the checkered flag first, followed by Rob Partridge, Rob Cobb, Max Th?riault and Brian Kenney rounding up the top five. Goody's Headache Award this week goes to Steve Young that had a tire explode during the first stint. Great job by all drivers. It was very competitive, a lot of side by side racing and of course a lot of fun. Next week, the chase starts at the ultra fast Atlanta. See you then!

Rob Cobb wins in tight finish at Charlotte Cup. John Richards claims the championship. Rob Cobb won at Charlotte on Wednesday 03/04 in the NSR Insomniacs Series. Great evening of racing last night at Charlotte. The Cup cars driven by the Insomniacs were running a blistering pace all night. We had a fast and stable setup. Tim Miller took the pole. To be expected, the caution flag flew a few times mostly due to cars running in close quarters. At the end of the evening, Rob Cobb would see the checkered first, followed by Paul Sanders in second, Rob Partridge in third, Dean Geer in fourth and rounding up the top five Tim Kirby. This week's Goody's Headache Award goes to Steve Young that lost connection early in the race. Fun race for sure. Next week we are at California for some super fast racing!
